i have trench 300mm wide X 400mm deep X 3000mm long with a T20 3000 long water temp to be 75/65 could you please give me an estimate of the kw rating thanks Stuart

    Hello Stuart,

    You will physically be able to get a type 20 unit in the trench with the dimensions given, however, I have based the following output on the following criteria;

    4596 watts - 15% = 3906 watts based on Building in unit running at 75/65/20 with a 200mm high wall baffle, 70% free air flow on the grille.

    The above is only an approximate calculation based on limited information but should be able to provide you with enough information at this stage to proceed with your project.

    I was hoping to get 5000 watts is this posible. the baffle would be 300mm not 200mm.

    Hello Stuart,

    Due to the limitiations of the trench and reduced air flow then I'm afraid not.

    However, you could use a type 15 building in with DBE (which would give approximately 4700 watts in comfort mode but this would require an electrical socket for the adaptor to be plugged into for the fans.
