Geo Horizontal Radiator

Posted on 17/11/2012 10:35am

Can it be mounted on any kind of wall? Is there a chance that a plasterboard wall would not be able to hold it due to its weight?

I have geo horizontal radiators on my brick walls. they are very heavy. If you are mounting on plasterboard- you MUST mount them to the wooden studs (beams) behind the plasterboard. If it was mounted on plasterboad fixings, a 3 year ol could quite easily pull it off the wall.

Use a stud finder to check the location of the vertical studs, then chaeck if they happen to marry up to the spacing of the geo mounting holes.
