The combined challenge of maximising useable room space and meeting the safety requirements of occupants at the Coopers Court self-contained flats for the frail and elderly in London E3, is being addressed by the use of 200 Tempo Low-H2O radiators from Jaga Heating Products.

The Tempo radiator is perfectly suited to space restricted care environments as it is available in the widest range of sizes of any LST product available in the UK today, and meets the requirements of the latest low surface temperature (LST) legislation.

With the outer casing remaining below 43 degrees C, even at high flow temperatures, the Tempo is ideal for preventing accidental burns in safety sensitive environments. Further safety features include the Tempo’s soft rounded design, which reduces the possibility of injury from falls on to the units.

As well as its LST characteristics, the new Tempo Jaga radiators at Coopers Court incorporate Low-H2O, or ‘low water’, technology.  Low-H2O technology offers a low mass, low water content heating solution – resulting in greater comfort levels through a constant and perfectly controlled room temperature.

Available in two shades of white, the Tempo is scratch resistant, easy to clean and can be assembled in minutes without tools, thanks to an easy-click system. The Tempo is also available as a free standing model.

All of Jaga’s LST radiators conform to the NHS Estates Health Guidance and are certified to EN 442 for their performance and quality. The range also includes the Sentinel, Maxi and Cocoon radiators and special LST products such as continuous casing or LST units that can be built in to wall recesses or behind seating.
