Jaga Strada radiators have recently been installed by Space Group and Arch Homes in a development of four sustainable homes in Blyth, Northumberland.
The pilot project was commissioned in response to concerning research showing that 77,000 North East families fall victim to energy debt.
The Strada model was chosen to help the buildings comply with ‘zero-carbon’ standards because of its compatibility with the renewable energy technologies being used. The Spacehus home was built to be a low waste, zero energy and zero bills home, which will hopefully pave the way for more sustainable homes being built throughout the North East and the rest of the United Kingdom.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) was integrated throughout the design process, which further affirmed Jaga’s suitability as a partner for the project. Our product range is available to download in Revit compatible BIM files to assist architects and building services engineers incorporate the ideal heating solution into their buildings.
A full case study on Jaga’s involvement with the Spacehus project will available to view in the near future.
